Official Bristol Record Contacts

Connecticut does not have a Bristol county sheriff jail or a local sheriff records counter. The correct office depends on whether the question concerns a Bristol police report, state custody, a court case, supervision, or federal detention. Use the originating office below and ask it to confirm current procedures before mailing payment or visiting.

Bristol Police Records Division

It does not release report information by phone. Mailed requests require a self-addressed stamped envelope, incident number, and correct prepaid amount.
